In Taxco, visit the silver workshops of Rancho Sprattling and Los Castillos where you will see top artisans creating exquisitely designed silver items and jewelry.
Visit the Museo de Plateria to learn the history of silver mining and craftsmanship, Museo de Taxco Guillermo Sprattling, and a reconstructed silver mine.
Visit a Churrigaresque church like no other and Casa Borda with artworks by local artists, the Indian Market where you will find semi-precious stones, jaguar and angel masks, lacquerware and textiles, and Museo de Arte Virreinal exhibiting colonial religious art.
In San Miguel de Allende meet some of Mexico’s best fine artists in their homes and studios.
Visit it’s crown-jewel cathedral La Parroquia, an art school with an unfinished Siqueiros mural, as well as the Aurora Art Center with beautiful linens, tapestries, silver and fine art items.

Visit a great mask museum with masks from all over Mexico.
In Cuernavaca visit Cortes Palace to view “Zapata's Horse”, Diego Riviera’s fine epic mural (1930), and learn about the Jaguar Cult.
Visit the extraordinary Cathedral complex with beautiful Japanese style murals, and the Museum of Medicine and Herbalism to learn the local wisdom of folk medicine.
Explore Las Grutas de Cacahuamilpa, a system of luminous caverns, and the ruins of Xochicalco where the Aztecs did precise astronomical observations.
Visit the Robert Brady Museum (formerly a beautiful private home) with works of art from all over the world.
Visit San Gabriel de las Palmas (1529) a magnificently restored hacienda, and the reconstructed Hacienda Cocoyoc (1521), both with beautiful grounds.
