At the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum view the largest collection of works by O’Keeffe and her contemporaries; visit the spectacular Museum of International Folk Art, and the Gerard Foundation Collection, visit the captivating Museum of Indian Arts and Cultures, and the private studios of one or two top contemporary artist’s. At Tesuque, take a behind the scenes look at Shidoni Bronze, one of the top fine art bronze foundries in the U.S. On a day trip to Taos: stop at Nambe pueblo to visit the incomparable old Spanish village of Chimayo, and inspect the remarkable Santuario de Chimayo which was hand made by the villagers. Visit to the Centinela Weavers who are dedicated to preserving traditional Spanish patterns and techniques. In Taos, visit San Francisco de Asisi Church; Millicent Rogers Museum of southwestern art, history and culture which holds the pottery collection of the great early 20th century artist Maria Martinez; and visit the unique home of turn of the 20th century Santa Fe artist Ernest Blumenschein.
