Experience the very best of Mexican interior design, art and architecture, from 16th century colonial to contemporary and futuristic. In Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende. On day trips to Queretaro, Guanajuato and Dolores Hidalgo you will be introduced to fascinating places and people, including some of Mexico’s great contemporary painters and sculptors in their homes and studios.

Visit beautiful haciendas, city and country homes, townhouses and a ranch - some designed by top Mexican architects and interior designers, some combine the ancient with the contemporary, some have art and/or antique collections and some have spectacular gardens and Mexican kitchens.

In Mexico City, see impressive buildings and monuments from the 1500s to cutting edge futuristic; visit the stunning Capuchin Chapel designed by architect Luis Barragan, Museo Franz Meyer holding fabulous antique decorative art and furnishings, and world class Museo de Antropologia.

In San Miguel de Allende, visit the crown-jewel cathedral La Parroquia, an art school with an unfinished mural by Siqueiros, a wonderful museum of masks, and the lovely Aurora Art and Design Center.

In Guanajuato, visit the 18th century Templo de San Cayetano, and the Majolica/Talavera showroom of famous ceramist Gorky Gonzalez.

In Dolores Hidalgo find beautiful ceramics including ceramic masks.

See Querétaro’s historic town center, the unique cathedral, and it’s immense still functioning 16th century aqueduct.

Enjoy gourmet meals in some of Mexico’s finest restaurants and have free time to shop or relax.
